We recommend that when you come to the Public Option, you avoid driving if possible. The Rhode Island Ave metro stop is .8 of a mile down the avenue - a pleasant walk on a nice day. Many people ride a bike to get here. And ride services are a great option.

If you drive, we don’t have dedicated/off-street parking. But street parking is plentiful in the area. Please read the signs - they are not very hard to interpret - but generally there are no time limits for street parking in the evening. On weekdays, Rhode Island Ave. north (our side of the road) is restricted during rush hour. But that ends at 6:30. And the other side of the street (south bound) is not restricted. While it’s unlikely that you’ll have any trouble finding a parking spot on Rhode Island Ave., the side streets are an option too.
